Boys’ basketball: Fremont’s Sam Sullivan is going for win No. 700
Sam Sullivan, the dean of the basketball coaches in the City Section with 38 years at Fremont High, is going for win No. 700 on Friday against Hawkins, according to CalHiSports.com.
He will be honored by the Fremont Alumni Assn. on Feb. 21.
Sullivan guided the Pathfinders to City Section Division 3A championships in 1989, 1991 and 1992. He’s 699-301 in his coaching career.
