Boys’ basketball: Sierra Canyon wins its opener in Missouri
Sierra Canyon won its tournament opener in Missouri on Thursday, defeating Republic, 72-54.
Marvin Bagley III scored 15 points, Cody Riley 13, Remy Martin 11 and Adam Seiko 10.
Crossroads defeated Coronado, 62-55. Shareef O’Neal finished with 24 points and Ira Lee had 20.
Eric Yenney scored 12 points in Heritage Christian’s 57-40 victory over Whittier Christian.
In Canada, Rolling Hills Prep defeated Sardis, 121-51. Chris Koon had 37 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Alex Garcia had 36 points.
