Thirty tackles is pretty good for three games. But junior linebacker Darian Cohen of El Camino Real was in on 30 tackes for one game _ Friday night’s 28-27 victory over Banning.
The Conquistadores got a blocked field goal by Kade Schmidtz on the game’s final play to secure the victory.
Quarterback Adam Blythe completed 24 of 34 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns.
The Conquistadores could be a factor in a weak West Valley League. Chatsworth is 4-0 in nonleague games and Cleveland is 3-0.
