Football: All 13 Mission, Trinity League teams make top 25 rankings
First home game in 65 years results in 42-35 victory
For the first time, every school from Mission and Trinity leagues are included in this week’s top 25 rankings by The Times.
Loyola joins the list at No. 25. Only six of the 13 teams are guaranteed playoff berths in the Pac-5 Division, though two other schools will be candidates for wild-card spots. But it’s an indication of how talented the leagues have become that every school is in the top 25.
Trinity teams are No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 11, No. 12 and No. 19. Mission teams are No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, No. 10, No. 14, No. 18 and No. 25.
