Football: Corona Centennial, St. John Bosco pick up transfers from Upland
There’s been a little bit of an exodus of football players from Upland, and Corona Centennial and St. John Bosco are the main beneficiaries.
Centennial has added senior to be linebackers Sione Piutau and Semisi Pahulu, both starters, plus lineman Siani Malere, another starter.
St. John Bosco has added junior to be receiver Jaiden Woodbey, who joins two other receiver transfers, Terrell Bynum from Servite and Colby Bowman from JSerra.
Another Upland player, Nate Tilford, transferred to Colony.
Coach Tim Salter doesn’t seem too concerned.
“I can only coach the guys that want to play here,” he said.
