Football: Eric Scott returns to coaching at Los Angeles High
He’s new head coach at Los Angeles High
Eric Scott, a former Crenshaw High standout who went on to play for UCLA and later became a Bruins assistant coach, has returned to the City Section as the new football coach at Los Angeles High.
“Being back in the City is real exciting,” Scott said Saturday while attending the City Section coaches meeting at Garfield High.
Scott last coached in the City Section at Crenshaw as an assistant coach in 2005. He’s also a former head coach of Compton Centennial.
He took over the Los Angeles program in May.
