Football: Lots of fast 40-yard times at Nike event
There was no lack of speed last weekend when 40-yard times were clocked at The The Opening Los Angeles at Redondo High School.
The Nike Football Ratings showed St. John Bosco running back Sean McGrew with the second fastest 40 time of 4.44 seconds.
Other quick times were turned in by running back Melquise Stovall of Paraclete (4.57), defensive back Traveon Beck of St. John Bosco (4.54), defensive back C.J. Pollard of Gardena Serra (4.58), receiver Chacho Ulloa of Corona Centennial (4.59), defensive back David Tolbert of Loyola (4.53), running back Leo Lambert of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (4.58), receiver Damion Alloway of Summit (4.50), defensive back Thomas Graham of Eastvale Roosevelt (4.52) and receiver Jordan Chin of Chaminade (4.53).
