Bruce Rollinson is one lucky coach this season. At Santa Ana Mater Dei, he’s going to have lots of options thanks to the best punter-kicker duo around in seniors Ryan Stonehouse and Chase McGrath.

Stonehouse is the punter, McGrath the kicker. McGrath made 10 of 13 field goals last season. Stonehouse booms punts.

Now there’s other teams with top individuals. Manny Berz of Citrus Hill is coming off a season in which he made 85 of 85 PATs and 13 of 15 field goals.

Diego Cacho-Sousa of Loyola had 10 field goals. Daniel Whalen of Rancho Mirage, a native of Ireland, is 6 feet 5 and booting field goals beyond 50 yards.

Matt Bazarevitsch of St. Francis is a top returning punter. Evan Silva of Crespi is a junior kicker headed for standout status. Quinn Perry of Palisades averaged better than 40 yards a punt.
