Football: Rancho Verde’s Sheriron Jones is another junior QB to watch
The list of promising college prospects from the quarterback class of 2015 continues to grow.
Sheriron Jones of Rancho Verde, a 6-foot-2 junior with scholarship offers from Arizona and Arizona State, made an impressive season debut, completing 25 of 30 passes for 430 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Elsinore.
“He throws the deep ball well,” Coach Pete Duffy said. “He moves well. He’s got a live arm.”
Next up for Jones is a strong test against Tesoro.
