Football: Tiny Martell Taylor comes through for South East
It was an offensive outburst in the Eastern League opener on Friday night between South East and Huntington Park. And when the dust had settled, South East prevailed, 49-41, behind a 5-foot-6, 150-pound running back named Martell Taylor.
All Taylor did was rush for 278 yards in 23 carries and score four touchdowns.
Taylor, a senior, also had a 60-yard kickoff return.
