Football: West Adams limited to eight games as punishment
For canceling its scheduled football game against Crenshaw last season at the last minute and also canceling another game, West Adams has been penalized by the City Section, losing two games for the 2013 season and will only have eight regular-season games, according to Commissioner John Aguirre.
Crenshaw had scheduled West Adams as its homecoming game, causing lots of Crenshaw alumni to change plans that had been months in the making.
