Football: What an opening week for Long Beach Poly grads
Long Beach Poly grads are tearing up in the first week of the college football season.
From UCLA’s Randall Goforth returning a fumble for a touchdown against Virginia to Utah’s Kaelin Clay returning a punt and kickoff for touchdowns against Idaho State to USC’s JuJu Smith catching passes in bunches against Fresno State, it’s clear the Poly influence is going to be big this season.
And the current Poly team isn’t too bad, either. The Jackrabbits have a 41-7 halftime lead over Crenshaw at Mission Viejo High.
