Football: Who wins St. John Bosco vs. Corona Centennial?
Sean McGrew rushes for 213 yards to lead the Braves to a 42-21 win over the Monarchs.
After seven weeks of high school football, there’s already speculation that St. John Bosco (7-0) will be playing Corona Centennial (7-0) for the Pac-5 Division championship.
So who wins?
According to Cal Preps’ computer rankings based on power rankings and strength of schedule, if the two teams met tomorrow, the projection would be St. John Bosco 38, Centennial 35.
And then who wins between St. John Bosco and Concord De Salle?
According to Cal Preps, it would be St. John Bosco 35, De La Salle 31.
Of course, it’s the players, not the computer rankings, that will determine the games. But it’s fodder for fans.
And there’s still lots of weeks left in the season to change the projections.
