Let the letter of intent signings begin
Today is the first day high school seniors can sign an early letter of intent for all sports but football, water polo and men’s soccer.
Lots of schools are holding signing ceremonies on Thursday because schools are closed today for Veterans Day.
Chaminade catcher Nick Kahle signed with Washington on Wednesday (see above) and will be part of a school ceremony on Thursday.
De’Anthony Melton of Crespi, a standout basketball player, signed with USC.
Santa Margarita had 12 athletes sign. They include Grant Shoults with Stanford for men’s swimming; Emily Boggess with UC Santa Barbara for women’s swimming and Taylor Donohue with Hawaii for women’s basketball.
Among St. Margaret’s three signees were Samuel Harnisch with Denver for lacrosse; Noelani Murayama with California for lacrosse, and Gabrielle Benck with Colgate for women’s volleyball.
