Sportswriter, coaches, athletic director to be inducted into SCIBCA Hall of Fame

The Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Assn. will induct its latest class into its Hall of Fame on Saturday during halftime of the Southern Section Open Division basketball final at Cal Baptist.
The recipients are Irvine Northwood coach Tim O’Brien, former Glendale coach Steve Keith, former Santa Margarita athletic director Richard Schaff and Los Angeles Times sportswriter Eric Sondheimer.
Sondheimer has been covering high school sports in Southern California for more than 40 years and since 1997 for the Los Angeles Times.
