Update: The Galaxy continues to fully test its multi-tasking abilities, ping-ponging between MLS threats and the challenges of CONCACAF Champions League. Saturday’s MLS duties should be considerably more straightforward against the lightly regarded Whitecaps. Vancouver remains winless on the road, and the Galaxy crushed the Whitecaps, 4-0, in the first meeting between the teams on July 30 at Vancouver. The Galaxy, which has won five straight games at home, is also holding its yearly Food Drive, benefiting the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank.
