Hulk Hogan settles lawsuit with Bubba the Love Sponge

Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) has settled the civil lawsuit he filed against Florida radio host Bubba the Love Sponge (whose real name is, get this, Bubba the Love Sponge Clem after he legally changed it from Todd Alan Clem recently) in connection with the release of a sex tape starring Hogan and Clem’s ex-wife.
While terms of the settlement were confidential, apparently part of it included an apology from Clem, who said the following on his radio show Monday morning:
“I am now convinced that Hulk Hogan was unaware of the presence of the recording device in my bedroom. I am convinced he had no knowledge that he was being taped. It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”
Hogan’s attorney, David R. Houston, had this to say: “Mr. Bollea is pleased that Mr. Clem finally stated the truth and apologized for his false statements.”
Well, glad that’s settled. Time to go wash my hands.
