National signing day: UCLA gets linebacker Dwight Williams
Dwight Williams, a linebacker from Gardena Serra High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Williams is a coup for the Bruins. He is ranked 180th on the ESPN top 300 high school players list. Louisiana State, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Clemson were among his final list of schools.
Williams could move to outside linebacker in UCLA’s 3-4 defense.
