His agency spelled out James’ accolades in a single July tweet announcing his move to L.A.: four-time NBA MVP, three-time Finals MVP, 14 All-Star games and two Olympic gold medals. He is playing in the Western Conference for the first time after eight consecutive Finals appearances with Miami and Cleveland.

Brandon Ingram
Height: 6’9” Weight: 190 lbs
NBA Experience: 2 years Age: 21
College: Duke
He developed into the Lakers’ go-to guy in his first two seasons and enters the season with less of the burden on his shoulders. He just turned 21 but he has the most experience out of the five Lakers’ first-round picks on the roster.

Kyle Kuzma
Height: 6’9” Weight: 220 lbs
NBA Experience: 1 year Age: 23
College: Utah
Kuzma acclimated quickly to the NBA game, proving himself as a versatile scorer in his rookie season. He averaged more than 16 points and scored 1,242 total points, the most of any returning player.
