Blake Griffin says Memphis’ Mike Conley among most underrated in NBA
A day after the Players' Tribune released Blake Griffin's revealing story on how much jumpers mean to him, the website tweeted out a series of lighthearted videos of the Clippers' superstar power forward.
Among them is a video in which he says he thinks Mike Conley is one of the most underrated players in the league. Conley, 27, is averaging 17.3 points and 5.5 assists this season for the Memphis Grizzlies, who are in second place in the Western Conference with a record of 36-12, 3 1/2 games ahead of the fifth-place Clippers (33-16).
In another video, Griffin was asked what is his favorite mythical creature. His response: "The griffin."
He said in other videos that Spencer Hawes was "trying too hard" with his Christmas suit, his favorite song is the "Farmers Only" jingle, he thinks Katy Perry would beat Taylor Swift in a fight, and his go-to character in the video game "Mario Kart" is Yoshi.

It's nice to see Griffin joking around. Let's just say he wasn't in the best of moods after the team's 102-100 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, during which the team blew an eight-point lead with 1 minute 11 seconds left. Griffin finished with 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the game.
He missed two free throws in the final minute and fouled out when he made contact with Alan Anderson as the Nets player made a three-pointer; Anderson went on to complete the four-point play with 15 seconds left to give the Nets a 100-98 lead.
"I was bad tonight," Griffin said. "I've got to be the one at the end of games that people can rely on, that our guys can rely on. I didn't do that tonight."
