Watch Braves infielder Elliot Johnson impersonate a NASCAR driver

Braves infielder Elliot Johnson hit a rare triple during Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Indians and was rewarded with a postgame interview on Fox Sports South.

Johnson decided to use the spotlight to have a little fun. When asked what he thought of the triple, Johnson decided to answer as if he were a NASCAR driver.

“Well, you know, the Time Warner Cable Roadrunner High-Speed Internet car’s been running good all day. You gotta say thanks to Chick-fil-A, NAPA Auto Parts — they pitched in — they’ve been great sponsors all year. We had a fast car all day, you knew we were going too fast; We got a little loose in the rear, I guess that’s why we were faster. And then once we got out front, I wanted to come in and talk to the crew chief and get it tightened up so that we could make the adjustment once we got ahead, you know, and keep the car on the road and stay off the wall.”
