Watch LeBron James go after Mario Chalmers, then apologize
Miami Heat teammates LeBron James and Mario Chalmers got into a bit of a scuffle during the team’s 97-94 win over Indiana on Wednesday.
Chalmers had a turnover, missed a three-pointer and committed two fouls during a two-minute span in the third quarter.
After James and Chalmers had a misunderstanding on defense that freed up Paul George to make a three-pointer with 7:56 left in the third, James let his frustration get the better of him.
During a timeout, James leaped out of of his seat, appearing as though he were going to attack Chalmers. He was restrained by teammates.
James later apologized over Twitter.
I love @mchalmers15 like a blood brother! I was wrong and apologized to him! We good and will always be good. I ride wit him any & every day— LeBron James (@KingJames) December 19, 2013
Wrote Chalmers:
