Maria Menounos to wrestle for WWE at SummerSlam pre-show

Actress and entertainment show host Maria Menounos is returning to the squared circle when she teams with Natalya to wrestle the Bella Twins at the Fan Axxess event outside Staples Center before WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view this Sunday.
Menounos has made several appearances with WWE and is a lifelong fan of the organization. She made her in-ring debut in 2009 when she teamed with Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim to defeat Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox.
In 2011, she teamed with Eve Torres, Kelly and Fox to defeat the team of The Bella Twins, Natalya and Phoenix. (As you can see, it’s hard to tell the good guys from the bad in WWE). Her most recent event was teaming with Kelly to defeat Phoenix and Torres at Wrestlemania XXVIII in 2012.
Fan Axxess is an all-day event held outside Staples Center and across the street at L.A. Live on Saturday and Sunday. The time the match takes place Sunday has not been announced.
Yes, we know what you are saying. Pro wrestling is not a sport. But WWE says it is “sports entertainment,” and who are we to argue with the WWE?
