Scariest Halloween costume: New Orleans Pelicans reveal mascot
The New Orleans Pelicans have unveiled their new mascot.
His name is “Pierre the Pelican,” but some critics think he resembles a feathered version of “Chucky.” Pierre replaces sweet “Hugo The Hornet” following the NBA team’s name change in April.
Pierre has a freakishly large red beak that’s wide open as if he’s about to eat you and his eyes seem slightly crazed.
Here’s some reaction around Twitter to Pierre.
