UCLA basketball: Adams, Powell consider declaring for NBA draft
Guards Jordan Adams and Norman Powell have filed paperwork to determine their NBA draft status, leaving open the possibility that UCLA’s basketball team could lose two more players.
Guards Kyle Anderson and Zach LaVine have already declared for the draft.
Adams and Powell are seeking information on where they could be picked in the draft. UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley filed similar paperwork for the NFL draft after the 2013 season. He decided to return for his junior season.
Adams averaged 17.4 points to lead the Bruins. He also had a team-high 95 steals. Powell averaged 11.4 points and was the team’s top defensive player.
College underclassmen have until April 27 to declare for the draft.
