Future USC defensive back Iman Marshall explains video commitment
Long Beach Poly defensive back Iman Marshall made the most of the signing day spotlight Wednesday by committing to USC – twice.
About 30 minutes before his scheduled live announcement on ESPNU, Bleacher Report released a video it produced that ended with Marshall announcing for the Trojans.
He then went on national television to put on a USC hat.
“I tried to stir it up a little bit,” Marshall said. “You want to put your own flavor into it.”
Marshall said the video was shot over a three-day span last month and had six possible endings -- which included commitments to Florida State, Louisiana State, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC.
The video was finalized Wednesday morning, he said.
Marshall, 6 feet 2 and 200 pounds, is the top-rated cornerback in 2015 by Rivals and Scout.
