For the rugged, Miraval offers wilderness hikes in the Arizona desert
Explore the rugged Sonoran Desert outside Tucson in late October during Hiking Week at Miraval Resort & Spa.
The facility’s outdoor adventure team will lead participants on six rigorous wilderness hikes, ranging from six to 13 miles, pointing out the flora and fauna of the region. In some cases, hikers will need to climb hand-over-hand and tackle steep stairs. Guests will also enjoy the hotel’s facilities, meals and beverages.
Dates: Oct. 26-31
Price: From $4,151 per person, double occupancy. Includes five nights’ accommodations, food and alcoholic beverages, daily resort activities, $175 resort credit and airport transfers. Individual hikes can be purchased separately for $55 per person by guests who don’t want to take part in the full week of hiking.
