Mother’s Day is almost here. Travel + Leisure put together a list of ideas for trips to take with your mom. The common thread among them is the shared experience of family and history, so perhaps that’s the best place to start. Think about the places that are most meaningful to you and your mom, and start planning.

For a trip that is a little closer to home, visit Cincinnati. Explore the vibrant city, and get some delicious food. For some added luxury, stay at the 21C Museum Hotel.
