Go beyond Havana to experience Cuba’s wild parklands and Fire Festival

See Cuba on a two-week tour that ventures well beyond Havana to visit six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, several cities within the country and the Fiesta del Fuego, or Fire Festival, a lively celebration of music, dance and culture in eastern Cuba.

The event, also known as the Caribbean Festival, includes daily parades, traditional singing, dancing in the streets and other activities in Santiago de Cuba.

Other cities on the Cuba tour include Baracoa, Holguin, Camaguey, Trinidad and Havana. The tour is led by Long Beach art history professor Mary Drobny.

Dates: July 1-14

Prices: Rates for the Fire Festival tour range from $3,875 to $4,200 per person, double occupancy; single supplement available. Includes accommodations, most meals, ground transportation, entrance fees and other extras. International airfare from Miami to Havana is included.
