A highlight of our recent trip was a tour of Roman ruins and Hadrian’s Wall in Northumbria and Cumbria. Our tour guide, Anna Gray, brought it all to life with her extensive and expert knowledge of the Roman times in England. She provides group tours as well as individual specialized tours. The countryside is extraordinarily beautiful, and there are charming small inns to stay in while visiting.
