The London Pass is adding the Shard, the city’s tallest building, to its 80-plus attractions to visit with the sightseeing card. The pass saves money on admissions to many of London’s most famous landmarks, starting at $97 for a single-day pass.
The deal: A suggested one-day itinerary using the London Pass provides admission to Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, the Hop On, Hop Off Bus and the View From the Shard — a combined cost of $143. With the pass, adults pay $97, children 5 to 15 years old, $69. (Prices are converted from British pounds.)
Travelers can buy two, three, six and 10-day passes, depending on how long you visit and how many landmarks you want to see.
When: The London Pass is available year-round.
Details: The trick to saving with the London Pass is to plan your sightseeing over a day or two in advance. That way you don’t risk coming up short time-wise and allow your pass to run out. Also, keep your eye on the website; sometimes you can find discounts.
