Seasonal special at Palm Springs’ Horizon Hotel
Celebrate spring in the desert with a $99-a-night midweek special for Los Angeles Times readers at the Horizon Hotel, a renovated Midcentury Modern hotel in Palm Springs.
The deal: Book by April 30 for stays until June 19 and receive the $99 rate for Sunday- through Thursday-night stays. (The weekend rate is $219 a night.) Guests must stay a minimum of two nights.
The hotel: The Horizon was built in 1952 by Palm Springs architect William Cody. It was extensively renovated in 2006 and now features 22 rooms. There are private patios, natural therapy pools, a Jacuzzi and a poolside bar.
