Traveling for two in the United States: the 10 most expensive cities
Ever wondered what the most expensive cities to visit are? The AAA comes up with answers in its 2008 Vacation Costs Survey. The results are based on a survey of more than 60,000 restaurants and lodgings in North America.
Here are the cities found to be the most expensive vacation spots. (Costs are based on average published prices for meals and lodgings for two adults.)
1. Honolulu
Lodging: $545.81
Meals: $127.32
Total average daily cost: $673.13
