Marilyn Manson turns Valentine’s Day black in Las Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — No one to share Valentine’s Day with? Now you can spend it with Marilyn Manson.
The often vexing singer starts his Feb. 14 with a concert at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, followed by a Black Heart Ball at Hyde at Bellagio Las Vegas. Surely “Cupid Carries a Gun” will be on the agenda.
Manson, known for his trademark makeup and controversial song lyrics, encourages Hyde guests to wear “their sexiest attire” for the ball.
Those who are in a more romantic mood can opt for Hyde’s Love Unit cocktail with Absolut Vodka, pressed lime, grapefruit and red bell pepper juice.
Manson, the only permanent member of his self-named band, is known for songs such as “The Dope Show,” the sinister chants of his anthem “The Beautiful People” and his haunting cover of the Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”
Tickets to Manson’s show at House of Blues start at $64.50.
