Godsmack to end its fall tour with a stop in Las Vegas

Reporting from Las Vegas — Alt metal band Godsmack is set to head out on tour this fall, with a stop Nov. 14 at The Pearl at the Palms with special guests Red Sun Rising. The concert will end the group’s cross-country sprint.
The Boston-based band has seven No. 1 singles on the Billboard mainstream and active rock chart, including “Awake,” “Straight Out of Line” and “I Stand Alone.”
The band, with four Grammy nominations, was the Billboard Music Awards rock artist of the year in 2001.
So far, the band has sold more than 20 million records worldwide. The group’s last three albums -- “Faceless” from 2003, “IV” from 2006 and “The Oracle” from 2010 -- have landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200.
Tickets start at $53 and go on sale on Friday, Aug. 21.
