Dance crew Jabbawockeez pops and locks over to the MGM Grand
The all-male hip-hop dance crew Jabbawockeez has left the Luxor to move to the new Jabbawockeez Theater at the MGM Grand. Their first show will be on Monday, Nov. 2.
The winners of the first season of “America’s Best Dance Crew” got their start in Sacramento wearing white masks and gloves while they performed.
The group first performed at the MGM Grand in 2010 with “MÜS.I.C.,” which later moved to the Monte Carlo. When they changed locations to the Luxor, the show changed into “PRiSM.” In 2011, they also released a CD of all the music in the show.
The members of Jabbawockeez promise new choreography, music and special effects when they debut at the MGM Grand. The smaller theater makes it easier to get close to the stage.
Tickets start at $49.99, and a Golden Circle ticket for $110 gets fans the best seats, a complimentary cocktail and a Jabbawockeez souvenir.
Tickets: MGM Resorts box office, (702) 531-3826
